One of the most frustrating things when it comes to building muscle
is the fact that sooner or later you are going to hit a plateau.
Now I have been in some pretty long and annoyingly drawn out
plateau’s that seemed like they would never end.
During challenging times like these here are a few things will help you
break thru every time…
1) Strategic Planning
2) Systematic progression
Both of those are sure fire ways to get you on the path to seeing
more gains in size and strength.
So what exactly does that mean?
Strategic planning is having a clear and defined goal and routine
you can literally follow day in and day out.
You have to have faith in your program and keep following it no
This seems like simple advice but it is were a lot of people mess
As soon as the gains slow up most people just jump ship and
try the next greatest thing…
This is not the answer to breaking thru your plateau.
The next is systematic progression…
This goes right along with the strategic plan because if you are
tracking and planning each workout you just follow the plan
you have laid out.
If this week calls for 4 sets of 10 you do 4 sets of 10…
If it calls for 85% of your max…
You do 85% of your max…
It really is not…
Truth is though almost everyone messes these things up.
I mean take a look around your gym today and see how many
people look the same month after month.
It is ridiculous…
