It was from IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski.
“Eating carbs before bed will not make you fat if you calculate them in your daily
macronutrient ratios. But they will prevent muscle breakdown. Too much food
will make you fat. Educate and dominate.”
I couldn’t of said that better myself…
I think the carbs before bed myth needs to just die.
If you really want to get a handle on your diet you need to learn how to
calculate your macronutrient ratio…
It isn’t that hard.
There are tons of online calculators to go by.
The hard part is just sticking to it for a few weeks to see the results.
Here is a base guide line…
If you are under 200 lbs…
Start with 60 fats, 250 carbs, 200 protein
If you are over 200 lbs…
Start with 60 fats, 300 carbs, 250 protein.
Also am to eat 30 grams of fiber per day.
Follow these numbers for roughly 3 weeks and see how your
